Mass Food Delivery by Mycoterra Farms – When a colleague you admire does something groundbreaking there’s no way but to feel proud and supportive. Since the pandemic hit, MFD was born and makes it possible for farmers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food in most areas of Massachusetts. Their marketplace brings fresh, healthy, locally grown, and produced food to you on a weekly basis. Not only have they delivered farm-fresh food directly to over 4,000 households in Massachusetts. But in collaboration with the Food Bank of Western Mass, they have distributed over 11,000 boxes (110 tons) of free produce, donated about 3 tons of produce to local pantries and soup kitchens, and have raised nearly $1000 for organizations working to promote Social Justice and address Food Insecurity in our region. Shop with them, and you’re supporting a whole lot more.
