Below are the policies regarding our handling of the personal information you provide when you make purchases from the online store, as well as information that is collected when you visit the website.
This website www.forkonaroad.com (the “Site”) is owned by Fork on a Road LLC (“Owner”) and is governed by this Privacy Policy for the Site. Your access and use of the Site constitutes your consent to the Site’s data and privacy practices, which governs data collection and usage.
Personal Information Collected
This Site does not collect any personal information, unless the user voluntarily provides it to us. We believe that your email address is private information.
When you choose to purchase products on our online store, you may be required to provide certain personal information. This may occur, for example, when you register for an account, send us an email, or submit your credit card and other information for a purchase.
The user agrees that the Site and Owner may use personal information, such as name, address, and email address, for the purpose of communicating with the user in relation to the products purchased, for outreach about other products and services, and for the Site’s Newsletters.

Automatically Collected Non-Personal Information
When you browse the online store on the Site, your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address is collected, which provides us with no personal information. The Site uses Google Analytics, and/or other similar products and services, to help us learn more about our users and provide better products and services.
The Site may also collect your browser type, domain name, access times, what Site pages you visited, and the referring website address, for example, in order to provide you the best products and services possible. None of this information includes any of your personal information.
Sharing of Personal Information
The Site and Owner do not sell or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties. You may be contacted by the Site from time to time on your personal email address by the Site in regards to offers, products or services of business partners or affiliates, but your information will not be shared with that business affiliate.

Online Store Account Information
The site offers two shopping options that allow you to choose how much information you wish to share with us:
1. As a Guest Shopper – Only the record of your transaction, excluding your personal information, is stored on the Site’s server, for customer service purposes. Each time you shop on the Site, you will be asked for your shipping, billing and credit card information. Your credit card information is not viewed, stored, or otherwise used by the Site, and is only collected securely through Square, our process server.
2. Registered Shopper – If you choose to create an account on the website, which is not required to make a purchase, your billing address and shipping address information will be stored on our Site’s server, for your convenience. Your Bill-To and Ship-To information will be pre-populated in the appropriate areas in the checkout procedure to make things easier for you. As a benefit for registered shoppers, we may also maintain records of your purchase history (accessible through your account) and other interactions you have on the website (e.g. comments).
Credit Card Processing
The User’s personal information, including credit card information, is only collected and stored by the Site and Owner, the WordPress EasyCart platform, and/or the Site’s secure process server Square, for the sole purpose of processing your transaction, and that information will not be used for any other purpose.
Upon information and belief, the secure Square credit card payment processor stores only the last four (4) digits of your credit card information, in a secure server, behind a firewall that is SSL secure. Please reference the privacy policies at www.squareup.com and www.wpeasycart.com for complete information on how your secure credit card information is processed.
WordPress EasyCart and Square are required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), and this Site and Owner use those systems in reliance upon their compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to your personal information.
Choice of Law
To the extent allowable by law, this Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the user hereby consents to the jurisdiction of courts in Massachusetts in regards to any disputes relating to the use of the Site, or good or services provided through the Site.
Indemnification
The user agrees to indemnify the Owner, and to defend and hold harmless its officer, directors, employees, agents and affiliated third parties, for any losses, attorney’s fees, or other costs relating to your use or inability to use the Site.

No representations are made by the Site or Owner about the suitability, reliability or accuracy of the information, products and services contained on the Site, to the extent allowable by law. The Site may contain links to other websites that are not the responsibility of the Site or its Owner. Links to other sites are provided only as a courtesy, and do not constitute an endorsement by the Site or Owner of the contents of the linked site. The Site and Owner are not responsible for any personal information that linked sites may collect from the user.
Any personal information provided to any third-party companies that this Site may use or link to, such as MailChimp or Constant Contact, is provided at the user’s discretion, voluntarily. Such personal information will only be used to the extent necessary to allow those third-party companies to perform the services they provide to the Site.
